Athletes' Village 

The Athletes’ Village is located at the Campus of Erzurum Ataturk University. The Athletes’ Village is 3km to the city center, 11km to the airport, and 1km to the Winter Universiade Arena, where the Opening and Closing Ceremonies will be held. The Athletes’ Village will be opened on January 22nd, 2011 and closed on February 8th, 2011. It will be open for 24 hours.

The Athletes’ Village consists of 3 main sections: Mixed Zone, International Zone and Residential Zone.

Mixed Zone

Borders of Erzurum Ataturk University Campus includes the Mixed Zone. The Mixed Zone is 44 square kilometers. It houses the Media Area, Delegation Meeting Halls, Bowling Hall, Billiard Hall, Disco, Transportation Terminal Area, two Markets, Patisserie, Cinema, Banks and ATMS.

International Zone
 
International Zone comprises Accreditation Center and Meeting Rooms for the Team Captains & HODs'.

Residential Zone

Residential Zone comprises Accommodation Area, Athletes’ Village Management Office, Shopping Center, Dining Hall, Sports Hall, Flag Hoisting Area, Storage & Waxing Rooms and Rifles Storage Room.

• Accommodation Area of the Athletes’ Village consists of 11 blocks and 1.252 rooms. Its capacity is max. 3.720 people. In the blocks, there are Athletes’ Rooms, Head of Delegations Rooms, Head of Delegation Offices, Medical Rooms, Cafeterias, Internet Areas, TV Lounges, Strategic Games Arcades, Electronic Games Arcades, Massage Rooms and Information Desks.

• In the Athletes’ Village Management Office, there is a Business Center, Translation Services Office, Delegation Information Center and mail boxes, Sports Information Center, Lost&Found Office, Security Office, Athletes’ Village Management Office, Volunteer Management Office, Flag Hosting Ceremony Management Office, Athletes’ Village Activity Office, FNSU Relations of EWUOC and FISU Representatives’ Office, Village Mayor’s Offices and Lunch Box Request Office. The Athletes’ Village Management Building will be accessible 24 hours a day.

• At the Shopping Center, there is a Hairdresser, Tailor and Dry Cleaner’s, Photo Studio, Sports Equipment Sales and Repair, Postal Office, Patisserie, Telephone Company, Souvenir Shop, Equipment and Car Rental Desks, Tour Information Desk and Transportation Information Desk.
