04.05.2010-At the fair which was organized by Supporting Civil Society Association Erzurum 2011 WU was introduced.Fair took place in the weekend in Palandöken Erzurum. Stand took great interest.
Fair which took place during the weekend in Erzurum-Palandöken, youth supporting civil society association and university student clubs also Yakutiye Municipality participated at the fair. Presentation was made about 2011 Universiade to the participants.
Civil Society Association Chair Muhammet Ali Yılmaz made a presentation indicating that major role has to be done by the youth.Yılmaz continued that 2011 WU and Erzurum will be promoted to the world.Already 50 country have applied.We are expecting about 3 thousand athletes from 60 country to participate in the games.Also over thousand of media members are expected to watch the games. The city of Erzurum with its culture and civilization will once more host the world with its hospitality.Also the applications to become a volunteer for 2011 WU still continues at the web site and the form has to be filled in.In order to become a volunteer you can also contact with Prof.Dr.Nurinisa Esenboğa who is the Chair of the Volunteer Committee and Director of the Vocational School of Tourism and Hotel Management in Atatürk University.
At the presentation film was shown about the organization,information about the stages of the organization was given.At the meeting questions of the participants were also answered. The 2011 Universiade, also related to youth clubs were informed about the project. Universiade 2011 to be submitted to the General Coordinator of the project was agreed.
At the presentation Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Ataturk University Associate Proffessor Yavuz Konca and Sports Events Committee Chair Associate Professor Mustafa Yaprak also answered the questions and gave information about their field work.
UNIVERSİADE STAND TOOK GREAT INTEREST
2011 Universiade stand took great interest. İnformation was given about 2011 WU games.Souveniers were also handed out related to Universiade.Also a promotional film was shown at the stand.
