05.02.2011-ERZURUM 2011 MEDIA- On the 10th day of the 25th WU, Minister of Health Recep Akdağ, Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertuğrul Günay, State Minister Responsible of Sports Faruk Nafiz Özak, President of Galatasaray Adnan Polat, President of Turkish Skiing Federation Özer Ayık and Erzurum Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Affairs Fatih Çintimar watched the competitions. Minister of Health Recep Akdağ who stated that Konaklı Ski Center is one of the best venues in the world, added that they have plans to construct a facility in Konaklı which will carry hot water to venues.
Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertuğrul Güney highlighted that he is fascinated by the venues, and added that Erzurum will be an important winter sports center in the future. Sports Minister Faruk Nafiz Özak stated that Erzurum put its signature to an important organization and added that they will train successsful sportsmen.
