Bernhard Graf’ reached for the gold medal 

Men’s Alpine Skiing Giant Slalaom Second Run ended. 

 

04.02.2011-ERZURUM 2011 MEDIA- On the 9th day of the 25th WU Australian skier Bernhard Graf won the gold medal with 1:52.04 minutes in Men’s Alpine Skiing Giant Slalom Second Run. Czech Adam Zika took the second rank with 1:52.53 minutes while Douglas Hedin from Sweden became third with 1:53,66 minutes. Turkish skiers Ersin Beydüz, İbrahim Yıldırım and Harun Şimşek became 58th, 61th and 67th, respectively, while Turkish skiers Selim Pasinli and Levent Taş were disqualified.
Graf: “Luck is on my side.”
Bernhard Graf who won his second gold medal stated that he did not expect this result and also added that he had more difficulty in Alpine Skiing Competition Giant Slalom when it is compared to Alpine Skiing Super Combined competition. Graf continued his speech “ I won the gold medal thanks to excessive trainings. I am happy to have 2 gold medals. I think luck is on my side.”
