03.02.2011-ERZURUM 2011 MEDIA – On the 8th day of the 25th WU, Women’s Alpine Skiing Giant Slalom competition ended in the Konaklı Ski Center. The skier who took the first place stressed that the ski track was adventageous for her. Vanwagner stated that she expected to be the first and continued: “I did not expect such a score. I guessed that I would be the first but 1:53.26 was a surprise for me. Vanwagner highlighted that her next aim is to graduate from the university and added that 25th WU is the first international tournament in which she competed thus she will never forget Erzurum. American skier stated that Turkish skiers should do their jobs willingly so that they can have a great run. Vanwagner who stressed that Erzurum is a city of skiing added that she wishes Erzurum would be the host country in the next world championship.
