31.01.2011 - ERZURUM 2011 MEDIA- Medalists of men’s nordic combine, men’s alp skiing, men’s and women’ snowboard SBX got their medals. To the medal ceremony at the historical Madrassa with Twin Minarets, Consultant for PM Süreyya Polat, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Affairs Fatih Çintımar, Member of Turkish Ski Federation Broad Management Ali Oto, Prisent of Turkish Figure Skating Federation Fahrettin Karademir, Secretary General of Turkish Figure Skating Federation Abdurrahman Koral, FISU delegates Karl Lustenberger, Sinisa Jasnic, Omar Al Hai, Pedro Sias, Malumbethe Ralethe, Myong-Hi Chang, Chul-Hi Chang and a number of people attended.
Japanese Aguri Shimizu, Tomasz Pochwala from Poland and Thomas Nartin Schmid from Switzerland who took the top three in men’s nordic combine received their medals from FISU delegate Karl Lustenberger.
In women’s snowboard SBX Czech Klara Koukalova, her compatriot Martina Krejcova and French Claire Chapotot got their medals from FISU delegate Sinisa Jasnic while in men’s German Konstantin Schad, Omar Visintin from Italy and his compatriot Federico Ramio received their medals from FISU delegate Omar Al Hai. In men’s alpine skiing Czech Adam Zika, Swedish Carl Lind and Australian Bernhard Graf got their medals from FISU delegate Pedro Diaz. The all of the medalists were also given 25th WU mascot “Snowy” as a gift.
