Erzurum breaks a new record as the 25th Winter Universiade continues. Erzurum which had broken a record in Universiade with the highest number of participant countries with 58 at the opening ceremony, broke an another record with highest number of spectators. Despite the snowy and cold weather, 10 thousand spectators watched the ski jumping finals. Experts say that rinks and snow fields are also packed with spectators.
The number of spectators at the jumping towers also caught the eyes of FISU authorities. FISU George Killian who watched the ski jumping finals, stated that they were pleased with the interest shown by the Turkish spectators to every branch of sports
