Turkey’s first success comes from Erkan Orhan in winter games.
29.01.2011 – ERZURUM 2011 MEDIA- In the third day of the WU, Turkish athlete Erkan Orhan became the 15th with 03:10:29 in Men’s Freestyle Cross Country elmination and advanced to quarter final.
With this success, Erkan Orhan became the first Turkish sportman to advance to the quarter finals.
However, in the later quarter finals race Orhan took the 26th overall rank was eliminated.
