27.01.2011-ERZURUM MEDIA- The first day of the jumping towers has started with the formal trial jumps at 10 a.m. Ivan Panin and Konstantin Voronin from Russia made their marks in the first round of the formal trial ski jumping in which male athletes from different countries competed. In the second round Japanese Aguri Shımızu took the first place.
IVAN PANIN TOOK FIRST PLACE IN BOTH ROUNDS.
First formal trial jumps finished and scores were noted in Türk Telekom Ski Jumping Towers. While Russian athletes Ivan Panin and Konstantin Voronin shared the first place with 100 meters in the first round, Swish athlete Felix Klaesi became second with 97.5 meters and Norwegian athlete Lars Enger became third with 93.5 meters.
In the second round, while Japanese athlete Aguri Shimizu took the first place with 101 meters, Russian athlete Ivan Panin became second with 99.5 meters and Swish athlete Tommy Schmid became third with 98.5 meters
In the third round, while Russian athlete Ivan Panin took the first place with 106.5 meters, Swedish athlete Tommy Schmid became second with 104 meters and Polish athlete Tomasz Pochwala became third with 101.5 meters.
TURKISH ATHLETE BECAME 26th
Turkish athlete Mustafa Öztaşyonar became 26th with 71.5 meters in the formal trial ski jumps in which 36 athletes participated in Türk Telekom Towers. During the jumps, spectators cheered for the athletes and supported them with lively applauses.
