26.01.2011-ERZURUM 2011 MEDIA- There are only a few hours for the opening of the 25th WU thus the required measures are taken in details in order to maintain the peace and security of Erzurum.
President of the 2011 Erzurum Universiade General Coordination Security Committee and Vice Governor Mehmet Gök stated that the sportlovers who come to the venues in order to watch the opening and closing ceremony are not allowed to carry cutters, sharp objects neither before the games nor during the games and after the games.
Gök expressed that; “ Insults, curses, insulting slogans and attitutes are the behaviors that are contrast with both nature of the sports, inviolabity and public safety. People who take place in these kinds of events will be punished.”
SPARKLERS AND ALCOHOL ARE NOT ALLOWED.
Gök who stated that every type of cutters, sharp objects, explosive materials, guns, smoke bombs, sparklers and caustic materials are not allowed at the game areas said that “ The sale of the objects that may ruin the order during the games, alcohol and the polluters such as confetti are not allowed.” Gök expressed that the sportlovers must obey these rules in order to follow the games in a peace and security.”
