25.01.2011-ERZURUM 2011 MEDIA- The athletes continue to arrive in Erzurum for the 25th WU that will be held between January 27 to February 6. Athletes from China, Kazakhstan and Japan, have already settled in the Athletes Village where they will stay during the games. Athletes from Canada and U.K are expected to arrive during the evening hours.
At the 25th WU, China will compete in 4 different branches; skating, short track, alpine skiing and curling. Kazakhstan will compete in the branches of snowboard, freestyle skiing, cross country, ice hockey and ski jumping. Japan will compete in ice hockey and ski jumping branches. 292 athletes from 58 countries are expected to come for the games.
