30.12.2010-ERZURUM 2011 MEDIA- Promotional work of 2011 Erzurum WU continues in full swing.Cemil Tamay known artist with sport-themed paintings has presented his work of ‘11 paintings in 11branches’ to the art lovers in İstanbul before Erzurum.
PAINTINGS TOOK 6 MONTHS
Mr.Tamay,’’A year ago during the construction of the facilities, I began to thinkwhat I can doto promote to games.I have made many sport-themed paintings in the past.Later on I decided to get in touch with General Coordinator of 2011 and said that I wanted to make paintings regarding to WU.The paintings which I have managed to finish in 6 months will be exhibited during the games in Erzurum.’’
‘’ I do my paintings at my studion in İstanbul.I have presented them to the art lovers in İstanbul.Exhibition will continue till January 10th.I’m very happy with the interest.Many people wants to see these existing paintings of the branches live in Erzurum.’’
