14.10.2010-ERZURUM 2011 MEDIA-106 days prior to the games, TRT the official broadcast of the organisation will carry a live broadcast of Erzurum 2011 to the screens each week from a different facility.Correspondent Ali Coşkun from TRT News Channel will connect to Erzurum each week.The first part of the first weeks program was with Bekir Korkmaz 2011 General Coordinator, Provincial Director of Youth Sports and Facilities Committee Chair Fatih Çıntımar and 2011 volunteers.Live broadcast was performed in front of the jumping towers in Kiremitliktepe.
KORKMAZ: WE ARE GETTING READY FOR THE BIG FEAST
During the program,Erzurum 2011 General Coordinator Bekir Korkmaz,gave detailed information about the CSU and Head of Delegation meetings.’’At the meetings we have presented 8 progress reports and the draw backs were great.FISU and HOD were pleased with all our works.They have seen the latest construction of the venues and thanked us for our improvements.’’We are in the last 3 % of the venues.So far 2940 athletes have applied.Record applicant athletes was 2520 with Innsburg.We have left this behind.54 country have applied and this is a record.’’Korkmaz,also reminded that we must not forget that PM Erdoğan has given a major support to this organisation.’’All the infrasructure,catering,accomodation and tender in many fields have been completed some part is still continuing.At the moment we are getting ready for this big show with our volunteers,directors and committee chairs. ÇINTIMAR: FACILITIES HAVE BEEN CONSTRUCTED VERY FAST
Among the guest of the program was Provincial Director of Youth Sports and Facilities Committee Chair Fatih Çintimar.’’Our facilities are being constructed very fast.Perhaphs there are no other example of this in any other country.We have completed the construction of the facilities in 1 years time. Ski lifts, cafes, guest houses and jumping towers were built.Cemal Gürsel Stadium has been renovated. 3 thousand capacity athletes village construction has been completed in a year.Having these facilities we have started training athletes who will enter a degree in winter sports.One of these are my son.He has won a medal in ski jumping held in Italy.Athletes who use to prefer other countries for ski jumping are now able use their own facilities.I believe they will be more successful while training at their own venues.’’
2011 VOLUNTEER IS TARGETED
Yeşim Bingöl,who took part at the program from 2011 WU General Coordination gave information about the volunteers who will take part in the organisation.Our target is 2011 volunteer.’’ The volunteers, working without any financial expectation.So far 3700 volunteer has applied in order to take part in the organisation. At the moment 60 volunteers public and private training is registered to system which is completed.
