25.09.2010-ERZURUM 2011 MEDIA- TRT, the Official Host Broadcaster for the 2011 Winter Universiade in Erzurum, have inspected several venues of the organisation.During the 2 day inspection they have determined the technical infrasructure of the live broadcast areas and the equipment that will be used.Among the participants of the inspection were TRT Deputy Director General Alaettin Korkmaz,Head of Studios Technical Department Cevat Yayla, Head of IT&C Mustafa Yılmaz,TRT Erzurum Manager Salih Lütfü Şengül, TRT Responsible of International Broadcasting Deniz Gücüyener, Sports Expert of TRT Ersin Küçükbarak,Live Broadcast Manager Ali Ercan,Technical Deputy Director Mahmut Sarıer, directors Mehmet Ali Polat and Deniz San.

TRT officials inspected the venues under the supervision of Broadcasting Director Zehra Aşçı, IT & C & B Executive Director of EWUOC Mehmet Özdemir.TRT officials stated that the organisation is very important’’ As an institution we’ll fulfill our duty in the best way.With our knowledge and experience from the past years, we’ll promote the games to whole world with the latest technologies'' he said.
TRT DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL KORKMAZ:ERZURUM IS BECOMING A NEW BRAND
After the inspection of the venues TRT Deputy Director General Alaettin Korkmaz stated that, with the recent investments in the city of Erzurum it has taken a significant step towards being a new brand of winter sports and tourism. TRT Deputy Director General Korkmaz, indicating success in sports has increased in direct proportion to the investments held ‘’ ''the latest example of this, we lived in basketball.I believe that in the coming years Erzurum will train worldwide athletes’’he said.
