16.09.2010-MEDIA-Fatih Çintimar stated games which will be held during January 27 February 6 in Erzurum %95 of the investment in Kandilli district has been completed.
Çintimar also stated that investment which have been made within a 160 thousand acres of land has costed 50 million TL. Thanks to the investments which has been conducted by Directorate of Youth and Sports Kandilli has now become a center of sports camp.
Investment Of 2011
These investments continues in the city center,Kandilli,Konaklı and in Palandöken.So far an athlete training center, two administrative buildings, a maintenance station, referee towers, biathlon shooting ranges, artificial snow system, and 50 thousand cubic meter pond has been built. However, the 8-kilometer road and trails has been covered with asphalt.
Necessary altitude which is 1690 and 1900 for Biathlon and Nordic Combine area of Kandilli has been created and infrastructure for power and technique basedsport branches has been formed.We have took down about 800 building in the district.So far %95 percent of it has been completed.We also established 48 artificial snow system . Sports branches of international criteria are met.
INCREASE OF INTEREST IN WINTER SPORTS
Çintimar said that with the investment of 2011 there has been a great interest in winter sports.
