13.08.2010-2011 ERZURUM MEDIA-After his parties meeting at İstasyon Square,Prime Minister Erdoğan ,Health Minister Recep Akdağ, Erzurum Governor Sebahattin Öztürk,General Director of Youth and Sport Yunus Akgül and Erzurum Universiade General Coordinator Bekir Korkmaz has inspected the Cemal Gürsel Stadium.
Erdoğan later visited the 3 thousand capacity ice skating hall in Aziziye and the Turkey’s first jumping towers in Kiremitlik Tepe.
General Director of Youth and Sport Yunus Akgül,2011 General Coordinator Bekir Korkmaz,officials of Youth and Sports General Directorate and construction company officials provided information about the facilities to Prime Minister Erdoğan.While Prime Minister inspected the facilities he also made statement to the journalists.Erdoğan said that Universade will be held next year and it’s a giant organisation.

Erzurum has made serious investments so far and still continuing said Prime Minister Erdoğan.
Erzurum will have a capacity of 20 thousand people stadium.It will also regain a modern city stadium.We have also inspected the ice skating venue and jumping towers. We have athletes accommodation and dormitories for our guests to stay.We have completed the airport already. We will prepare everything with all environmental regulations. Competition will be held in many branches of the Winter Olympics. I believe we will be successful.
ERZURUM WILL RAISE ATHLETES TO THE WORLD
Erzurum not only raise athletes for Turkey it will also raise athletes among the world.Turkey is living a change and transformation with the taken steps towards sports and youth.We will promote this more.
Universiade tile plate was presented to Prime Minister Erdoğan on behalf of General Coordinator Bekir Korkmaz.
Later on Erdoğan,visited the Ice Hockey Hall in Yenişehir district,there he has watched the Shorttrack teams work.Provincial Director of Youth and Sport Fatih Çintimar and National Team Coach Wang Xuemei from China has informed the Prime Minister.
