21.07.2010- Sportsnet company will carry out the promotion and advertising of the 25th WU games which will be held in Erzurum. Sportsnet was founded in 2001, the country's first sports marketing agency focused on sports,has also performed promotion and advertising of 2005 İzmir Universiade.
SIGNING CEREMONY WAS HELD
Sportsnet will carry out promotion and organisation of the games as well as organising such areas as television, internet, radio and newspaper advertising and media campaigns.
Contract was signed between Sportsnet and Erzurum 2011 General Coordination.General Coordinator Bekir Korkmaz,Sportsnet company official Ahmet Gülüm and Marketing Director Murat Sancar remained presence at the signing ceremony.Large number of press attended in the ceremony.Just before the signing ceremony General Coordinator Bekir Korkmaz said that;they had worked with Sportsnet as partners prior to the bidding.Korkmaz,’’Sportsnet is the company who has held the promotion and the organisation of 2005 İzmir Universiade.We have no doubt that Sportsnet will also be successful in this organisation as well.While Sportsnet organising the promotionla activities at national and international level,winter games promotion and advertising at local level will be carried out by Arkes company’’he said.
ALL AREAS OF THE MEDIA IS GOING TO BE USED
After the signing ceremony Sponsorship and Marketing Director Murat Sancar, answered the question of the journalists.
Sancar, said that 16 companies have participated in the bidding for promotion and advertising organisation.’’The bidding process was held under the chairmanship of the State Minister Responsible for Sports Faruk Nafız Özak at the Audit &Supervision Board and at the end of the meeting the companies were pulled down to 4. In the final assessment among the four firms Sportsnet company won the bidding by3.5 million TL’’he said. Sportsnet company official Ahmet Gülüm stated that ‘’using all media fields related to the winter games we are aiming to achieve overall communications work,''he said.
INFORMATION VISIT TO GOVERNOR ÖZTÜRK
After the signing ceremony General Coordinator Bekir Korkmaz,visited Governor Öztürk to provide him with information about the Sportsnet companies promotional and advertising efforts.Governor Öztürk expressed his satisfaction of the visit,he stated that promotional work is the most important job of the organisation.’Investment held for the games and the works carried out for the organisation will gain value with good promotion and advertising strategies. With the successful publicity campaign in Izmir before we also believe that it will be same with Erzurum as well’he said.
