17.07.2010-Kandilli Ski Center which was built for Erzurum 2011 Winter Universiade games,has been admired by the Turkish National Team of Biathletes.
The rough construction of Kandilli Ski Center has been completed and at the moment landscaping work continues.Biathletes preparations continues at full speed whom are in Kandilli for training camp.Athletes starts to train early in the morning under the supervision of their trainers Yunus Oğlağa, Kenan Örün, Muhammet Bilan and Mustafa Çetinkaya. Şadi Yusufoğlu, Soner Taşkın, Eyüp Levent, Şebnem Önver and Rahşan Yılmaz all of these athletes only goal is to enter a degree in the first international competition and win medals.
Our Athletes Are Highly Motivated
The training camp which will last till July 20th,national team trainer Yunus Oğlağa said that the camp has been very efficient and the main reason for the athletes being motivated is thanks to this great facilitiy. Shooting gallery has been equipped with the latest technology and our athlets have received very good results, stated the trainer Yunus Oğlağa. Kandilli Skiing Center is one of the important Biathlon center in the world which embodies the technological equipment.
With its geographical location Kandilli holds the best position for the Biathlon.We have camped in Obertilliach Ski Center in Austria before and they did not have the technological infrastructure as Kandilli.Having this kind of advanced technologic facility in Kandilli, has provided the motivation of our athletes to work every day to improve their skills.
