Universiade Quota To The Physical Education Department... 

2011 ERZURUM MEDIA- Related to Atatürk University School of Physical Education and Sports also Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education 23 national athletes will be admitted to those faculties in different winter sports branches.

Physical Education and Sports School Coaching Education Department, Physical Education and Teacher Training Department, Sport Management Department and Kazım  Karabekir Faculty of Physical Education Teacher Training  Department program with the same sections evening education students will have to take a special ability test in order to be admitted to those programs.320 students of those 116 female and 204 male will be admitted to the varies departments. Universiade quota has been  allocated  for 23 national athletes. In Alpine Ski branch 1 female and 1 male,in cross country branch 1 female ,1 male and 1 female for Ice Hockey branches  which in total of 5 national athletes will be admitted for this section.For the same sections evening education there will be 1 male for Alpine Ski, 1 male for Cross Country branch and 1 female for Biathlon so in total of 3 national athletes quotas are allocated for this section. For the Physical Education Teacher Training department they are planing to take 1 female and 1 male for Alpine Ski,Snowboard and Cross Country branches.For Ice Hockey  1 female and 2 male and 1 female for Biathlon so they are willing to recruit 10 national athletes in total. National athletes are not intended to be admitted to two programs of the school's recreation section .For the sport management section 1 male athlete in Alpine Ski and Biathlon branches are to be recruited.Same sections evening class in the branches of Alpine Ski and Biathlon  they will also recruit 1male athletes each. On the other hand in Kazım Karabekir  Physical Education Teacher training Department  Alpine branch of the quota was put in for  men  national athletes. School administrators,stated that they have a quota for the athletes in different winter sport branches.These quotas were recruited especially for 2011 Winter Universiade.Relevant federations will decide weather the athletes can compete in winter games or not.
