Accreditation for 25th Erzurum Winter Universiade is now open.

Turkey,Erzurum - Application for media accreditation for the 25th Erzurum Winter Universiade which will be closed on November 27, 2010 is now open.

Erzurum 2011 Organizing Committee (OC) is hosting the Championship on behalf of the Government of Turkey.

23rd World Summer Universiade was a successful organization which was held in the heart of Aegean Blue one of Turkey’s most beautiful summer city of İzmir, this time we will come together at the Anatolian Peak in Erzurum Turkey’s most beautiful winter city.

Games will be held in 11 discipline with 3000 participants from 60 countries are expected. About 1500 media members will watch the games.

AIPS (Association Internationale de la Presse Sportive), FISU and Local Organizing Committee will fix the country quotas.

The steps of the procedure for media are:

1. Registration online at

2. Approved and completed forms are forwarded to the address

3. The approval letter will include details of further requirements to finalize the accreditation process;

4. Media will also receive further information on how to book accommodation and will be able to access the ‘Booking’ area at the Accommodation section upon login.

Please note that the deadline for accreditation is November 27, 2010. Media should make appropriate allowances for time that may be required for visa processing, where applicable.

Accreditation Procedure for Media

All media representatives shall have their accreditation processed at the Accreditation Centre of the Main Press Center.

(1) Arrival at the Accreditation Center.
(2) Confirmation of identity, handing in passport and individual entry form.
(3) Registration and confirmation of possible modifications.

(4) Photo taken (in case of missing or unqualified photos).
(5) Printing of accreditation card.
(6) Approval and signature by officials of the FISU Press Commission.
(7) Lamination, registration and delivery of accreditation cards by the Accreditation Center (Cemal Gursel Stadium)
